Friday Postcard: Lagoa Coconut

Hi all,

Wow, it´s Friday again already. It seems like time goes faster every year. Zoom zoom zoom.

One of the things that I like about the Brazilian culture is that they do know how to kick back and relax. Brazilians also know that the simple pleasures are the best.

One of my favorite simple pleasures here is sipping a chilled coconut. You can find them sold at the kiosks which line the beaches. But you can also buy one from the guy with the simple push cart along the path which encircles Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. This lagoon, around which Zona Sul is wrapped, is a favorite place to walk, jog, and bike. And how better to cool off after than with a chilled coconut!

Aaah!

See you again soon. Have a great weekend!

Um abraço,

John
